Type - Good all-purpose apple. Good for juicing. An easy apple to grow, resistant to scab, fairly resistant to mildew, and it crops well.
Season - Late season.
Size & Shape -Medium sized
Colour - Has a bright-red blush, dark crimson skin, but can have patches of yellows and greens.
Taste - Sweet, with very white flesh. Crisp and Juicy.
Storage - Store a few weeks to months if stored correctly but can loose flavour and crispness if stored for long periods.
Pollination - Group C, an excellent pollinator for other varieties, requires another variety to aid pollination. Suitable varieties inlude Adams pearmain, Alfriston, Allans ever lasting, Captain Kidd, Cox’s Orange, Ellisons Orange, Laxtons Fortune, Royal gala, Fuji.
