Origins -Originated in Bedford, England, created by the Laxton Brothers Nursery in 1904 by crossing a Cox’s orange with a wealthy apple.

Colour - The colour is a yellow-green base with red striping ontop.
Taste - Sweet flavour.
Storage - Best eaten fresh - will only keep 1-2 weeks in cool storage.
Pollination - Partially self-fertile. benefits from being pollinated by one of the following Kidd’s Orange, Monty’s Surprise, Peasgood Nonsuch, Priscilla, Royal Gala or Winter Banana.
