How do we ship to you?
We normally post plants at the start of the week to ensure they arrive to you in good time. If an order is placed at the end of the week we will wait and ship it the following week.
We send plants boxed with NZ Post. Plants are watered before shipping to ensure they’re happy on the journey. We advise plants are best shipped during the cooler months. Ordering outside of Dec/Jan/Feb period can ensure plants don’t over-heat or dry out on their journey, especially if they’re going a decent distance. We want to ensure your plants arrive in good condition but of course you are welcome to order at any time!
Shipping is auto-calculated through the website based on dimensions and weight. Fruit trees are more expensive to ship as the weights and heights are sometimes outside of the dimensions allowable by NZ Post.
As a guideline - Anything more than 4 potted fruit trees is outside of the size allowable with NZ Post (based on the area by volume) and would have to go with a different carrier. Prices may differ slightly from the auto-calculation on the website. There may be an additional charge or a refund due based on dimensions and distance to travel with the alternative carrier. In this case we would send an email to work with you to confirm the shipping options or offer a refund, which ever you prefer. Customer satisfaction is important to us.
We also allow pick ups from our stall in Wingatui, Mosgiel.
