Commonly known as hedge woundwort or whitespot is a perennial herbaceous plant growing up to 80cm tall and spreading wide. Can be invasive in the wrong spot. Thrives in woodland or grassland type areas. The stems are square and the flowers purple. Adored by bees and used historically as a herb to heal wounds - hence the name.
