Vietnamese Mint - Persicaria odorata
Perennial herb sometimes known by other names - that grows well in sub-tropical climates but can handle frost and cooler temps as well. Can grow up to 30-40cm high and spread widely.
Leaves are often used in vietnamese and asian cuisine - they have a pungent and slightly spicy flavour. Very nice in laska type dishes or stir-frys or rice paper rolls. The leaf has a dark margin and is elongated and slightly pointy.
Prefers full sun and good drainage. Potted into a PB3 to ensure good growth - vigouous
