Rose Coronaria - Lychnis Coronaria Pink

Short-lived perennial flowering plant. Native to the middle-east, very dry tolerant and prefer full sun. Silvery grey/green foliage with pink flowers on a tall stem. Looks great in borders, bedding or flower gardens. Self seeds readily. A lovely contrast in the garden with the grey foliage. Available potted or bare-rooted in winter.

This is what new gardens look like at my house. This was a very untidy corner with old pallets and mushroom logs and over grown vegetation. Out comes the weedwhacker! The vegetation cut down. Covered with coffee sacks and mulched with grass clippings
Sick of weeding paths and lifting wood chips. Work smarter not harder... The paths have been weeded back to bare soil and down with lawn seed. Then a whip round with the weed whacker to keep them tidy. Hopefully much less work. #wingatuihomestead #

All this rain then heat has been so good for the garden. Everything is looking so lush. Hard to believe 5 years ago this was over grown cooch grass, hemlock, dead trees and gorse. Still a way to go to get it all landscaped but definitely almost there
