Origins - A chance seedling was discovered by farmer O. Moran in 1952 and cultivated by Williams Brothers nursery in NZ.

Taste - The flavour when picked straight from the tree is sharp, and not that pleasant. This apple is best left in storage where it matures matures and sweetens. It has a rich, sugary flavor with hints of gooseberry.
Storage - An excellent keeper. Great to lengthen your apple season with something that will keep for a long time.
